Flight Sim Stuff

My father used to fly for BKS, so i bought the MAAM-SIM R DOUGLAS R4D / DC-3/ C-47 with the intention of repainting it in BKS livery. This is my rendition of the Cargo version of the DC-3. To download just click on the picture of the Dakota, there are instructions in the zip. I intend to do some more repaints of the BKS Dakotas.

If you install the Reality XP weather Radar in the Flight One ATR using the RXP "EZ Config for Wx500" the WX500 will be removed when you next run the "ATR Configuration Manager". To use the WX500 in the ATR you need to edit all 40 of the optional panel*.cfg files. I have edited them all to save you the trouble, and added an icon to the window control panel in place of usual RXP ministack. If you wish to download the files, click on the picture of the ATR panel above, there are installation instructions in the zip folder. To make use of these files you need to own the Flight One ATR, and the Reality XP WX500 weather radar.  These files have been modified so as to use the 2005 version of the Wx500 along with the SP2.1 ATR version, they should work wih older versions of both but i have not tested them, so you do so at your own risk. After you have installed my edit, the next time you run the "ATR Configuration Manager", the changes will be made to your panel and you will have the extra icon as in the picture above.

I have converted all the default cloud textures to DTX3, this can improve load times and consequently help to stop the stuttering sometime experienced when in heavy cloud. I have kept the default resolution number of mip-maps and alpha channel so the clouds look almost identical to the default, but they now use a quarter of the bandwidth of the default clouds. To download the files click on the picture above, there important are instructions in the zip folder, please read them before installing, because failure to do so could result in FS not running.

Only 2 small regional airlines operate from my local airport, one of them, Air Wales or Awyr Cymru use the ATR 42-300, so I decided to do the livery for the Flight One ATR, which you need to use this repaint.
